Royal sims

Titles for royal sims haven’t always been around! For these titles I will be using British nobility as that is the one most people go for!

• Question: Do you guys have your married royal sims share a bedroom or have seperate bedrooms? sorry for all the questions

Ronnie answers: separate as that was the custom until 2000 , well 20th / 21st century

• Question: Can women inherit the throne in the 1300s in england?

Yes, as long as there are no male heirs!

Servents:

• Question: I've never done royal udc. How many maids should my lady have?/For your servants is there a mod or something that puts them the “title” of servants?

Ronnie answers: So I have four playable sims as the household servants, now you can have as many or as little, I have found 4 is an ideal amount for a modest family, however the true amount needed to run this one is 8 but i am rambling, to truly make them feel like staff i have them in tiers, the man being the butler and head of the household, all the servants are answerable to him, whilst he is answerable to the duke and soon duchess. The butler here is responsible for the duke's personal rooms, such as his bedchambers, his study and of course will lead the dining room, as I only have 4 duties are shared and he doubles as senior valet and head cook. As head cook he will also order in all the food we need for the kitchens and will prepare the more grander side of the meal. The maid by herself is the head housemaid, so she will change the bedsheets, trim bonsai bushes and will do tea preparation. She will double as a ladies maid to the young ladies and any noble visitors the house has, she also does the laundry. She'll also do light cleaning throughout the day The brown updo maid is the senior ladies maid and housekeeper. She will be the head of the laundry, manage the stock cupboard of candles, flower arrangements and so on and is responsible for my households spending. She will be the attendant to the senior lady of the house, as well as the most senior title of those who reside here (in simple terms if a queen stays here she will attend to her as well as the duchess) Like the two above she is allowed to be seen around the house The last maid is the scullery maid, she will only attend on the family in dressing if it is a MUST. She will light the fires each morning as well as put them out and be responsible for cleaning and washing up. She is also a laundress. She is not allowed to be seen upstairs so she has to be stealthy.

Jaden answers: I have my servants in units the for rent pack and when i need to play as them I use the control any sim mod and click on them and they act as a playable sim but they are only temporarily in your household you have to deal with the stupid tenant revolts but it's worth it.

• Question: I don’t have for rent unfortunately

Jaden answers:you don’t really need it you can just have like 2 or 3 servants in your actual household but that’s just the way I like to do it.I also have a unit full of knights lol and I don’t play as them but I like seeing them walk around the castle it just makes it feel more alive

Please be careful with For rent after Jaden started doing this method their lot got corrupted!

• Question: For servants to not do things that they shouldn’t do, do you have autonomy?

Ronnie answers: yeah and two servant staircases

Jaden answers: I have a servant staircase down to the kitchens but not anywhere else they just use the main stairs lmao.
